★★★★★
Praised the guide’s clear explanations in both languages and the unhurried pace, with plenty of time to take the glacier in from several angles.
Mark · Apr 2026
★★★★☆
Warned that reaching the closer viewpoints means a great many stairs, though a couple of good viewing areas stay reachable without them.
Jennifer · Mar 2026
★★★☆☆
Felt the day was well run but noted an experienced traveller could arrange the same visit independently; the value was in the commentary.
Johanna · Jan 2026
★★★★★
Nervous about slipping, and found the guides patient and hands-on throughout the ice section.
Rebecca · Mar 2026
★★★★★
Described roughly an hour on the ice within a three-hour walk, with stops for photographs and a drink poured over glacier ice at the end.
Natalia · Apr 2026
★★★★☆
Said the day ran considerably colder than expected and recommended packing a change of clothes.
Kristen · Feb 2026
★★★★★
Enjoyed the comfort of the vessel and the food, and recommended the option that lets you disembark for the walkways.
Anne · Feb 2026
★★☆☆☆
Disappointed that the boat no longer approaches Upsala closely, and advised bringing binoculars.
Leena · Jan 2026
★★★☆☆
Found the box lunch basic while praising the dessert and the scenery, and struggled with the English commentary.
Greg · Feb 2026
★★★★★
Called the boat and the walkways complementary rather than duplicative, each giving a different sense of scale.
Gavin · Mar 2026
★★★☆☆
Thought the boat could be skipped in good weather in favour of longer on the walkways.
Rada · Dec 2025
★★★★☆
Noted the optional boat costs materially less bought on the day at the pier than added through the booking site.
Neil · Mar 2026
★★★★☆
Reported a boat departure moved by several hours and the itinerary reordered around it without much fuss.
Marek · Mar 2026
★★★★★
Said the views from the walkway matched or beat those from the ice, while still rating the trek itself worthwhile.
Helen · Feb 2025
★★★★★
Described about forty-five minutes through forest then three to four hours on the ice with a lunch stop, and very few people on that route.
Rebecca H · Jan 2024
★★★★★
Recommended booking well ahead because the ice treks sell out, and rated the day worth the outlay despite the cost.
Daniele · Nov 2024
★★★★☆
Rated the trek highly but noted the day is a long one with a wide pickup window.
Natalie · Oct 2025
★★★★☆
Sailed within sight of the south face and had two hours afterwards on the walkways, and thought the park fee should be bundled.
Blair · Nov 2025
★★☆☆☆
Praised the guide and the convenience but reported being refused the boat portion over a booking-list error.
Melinda · Feb 2024

What travellers agree on
The same themes repeat across almost every listing. The boat safari is the upgrade people are gladdest to have paid for. The stairs on the lower walkway circuits surprise visitors who expected a flat boardwalk. And the park entrance fee catches people out, because it is not included and several booking pages quote an out-of-date figure.
On the ice treks, the pattern is different: guides are praised almost universally, the cold is underestimated almost as universally, and several travellers point out that booking direct with the on-ice operator can cost less than booking through a reseller.
What the reviews will not tell you
Ratings say nothing about how long a tour actually spends at the glacier. The highest-rated cruise on this page gives thirty minutes at the Perito Moreno front; a cheaper day tour gives four hours on the walkways. That comparison sits on the key facts page.
